sorry Dave, here in this forum the most part of the people don't play pool and isn't interested about the break velocity or other competitions about pool... and a lot of players probably don't speak english so much to understand the links that you post here...
but please don't stop to write here, maybe someone can take intresting from your proposal and take the decision to begin to play Pool too!

Can you tell me is there another pool forum, more dedicated to American pool in Italy please?

from my experience... no, sorry...

the pool players in italy are around 800 units (players associated at the italian biliard federation FIBiS) and in this conditions you can understand that here in italy the pool is a closed sport... at the last italian national championships we was less than 150 players of all categories (A, B, C womans and juniores).

and I don't know one forum dedicated only at the pool in italian language.
