Snooker Locali die Milano?

Ciao,

does anybody here speak english? Maybe somebody can help me find a snooker place in Milano?

Ciao Peter, welcome in Italy. I'm not from Milano but I don't think there is one there. I know a couple of nice pool rooms, if you're interested. I think the nearest snooker place is in Lugano, Switzerland, that's about 70 Km far from Milano. If someone can help you finding a closer one, I will translate for you.

Hi Peter, welcome in this forum

I'm afraid there's not a single snooker table in Milano yet. Unfortunately here in Italy snooker tables are just starting to spread here and there, we have just about 10 or 12 of them in the whole country. Maybe the nearest from Milano is the one in Genova, or in Parma, both well over 100Km away. Sorry!

Hi Efren,

thanks for the welcome. I am only starting to learn Italian. Nice language, but not easy. Before I started playing Snooker I played Pool all the time. Being in the south of the City (Ticinese), which place would you go to?
Sorry, I realised just now that u r not in Milano, but if anyone has a suggestion, I welcome them.

No problem Peter, even if I'm not in Milano I can give you the addresses of the two places I know. One is called "All in" (they play poker too, if you happen to be interested) and it's located in via Torino 64. The owner, Beppe, is a good friend of mine. You can tell him Francesco Tomati gave you the address. The other poolroom is called 33 Cafè, via Villoresi 33, the owner is Mauro, same thing...

Have a good time in Milano, btw are u here on vacation, business or did you move to Italy?

Se parli della sala di Davesco (periferia di Lugano), con 17 tavoli da Pool, sono stato là a dicembre e non ho visto tavoli da Snooker.

Hi Peter, welcome to the forum! The first all foreigner member of the forum, cool!

I'm from Milan (actually not really but I moved in last year). According to what you told us the closest places for you is the 33Cafè, but tables aren't that good, still not a bad place. I'm looking forward to see the All-in club, even for the poker competitions

but unfortunately (not really) I'm not in Milan now and I'll be back on august the 31st. Hope too meet you there when I'll be back.

Hi Efren,

thanks for addresses. I moved to Milan for business and I be here about 2 years. I hope I learn Italian in the meantime

I am somewhat interested in Poker, depending on the sums played. But I am sure that I will find out.

So, maybe see you sometime in one of the saloons.
BTW: I am 2m tall, so easily recogiseable.
